Trouble Shooting |

Before contacting your local service, please check the following. If the product does not work normally after
completing the following trouible shooting, please contact your local service center. |
1. No message is displayed on the front panel or product has no power.
 | check the power switch |
 | check the power plug to make sure it is connected to a live outlet |
|
2. No picture
 | make sure the receiver is not in the "StandBy" mode |
 | make sure the RF or A/V cables are connected properly to the television |
 | make sure the LNB/F is properly connected to your receiver |
 | make sure the modulator channel matches the television channel |
 | check another satellite channel |

3. Poor picture and sound quality
 | confirm that your antenna has a good line of sight and there are on obstacles |
 | make sure you are using RG6 coax that has been sweep tested to a minimum of 1450MHz |
 | make sure your antenna is aligned for maximum signal |
 | make sure the LNB/F polarity is aligned for maximum signal |

4. No audio
 | check the volume level of the television |
 | check the volume level of the receiver |
 | check the "MUTE" setting on the receiver |

5. Remote control does not operate
 | remote needs to point toward the receiver during operation |
 | check the batteries |
